A striking transformation of a family home including an extension into the existing roof in the form of a dormer to create a parental suite. The living spaces have been lit up by removing large sections of external walls and internal partitioning to create new large openings and spaces. These spaces present beautiful flows and connectivity whether it’s on the ground floor or first floor or indeed the in-between spaces. The staircase becomes a structural piece that is carefully maintained within a circulation zone but also offers itself as a viewing gallery into the living room.
